A LISTING AGENT is a member of the MLS that is representing the Seller. The agent must be a participant with the MLS to enter a listing into FlexMLS. You cannot co-list with a non-member office/agent.
The SELLING AGENT is a member that represents the buyer. If the Selling Agent is entered incorrectly, it can only be changed by MLS staff if documentation is provided. It is important to ensure the correct member signs the Contract. If an assistant is handling the closing, the signature should state Selling Agent Name by [insert assistant name here]. If there is more than one selling agent, all agent signatures should be included.
