The GSBOR Board of Directors recently voted to endorse Proposition S on the April 2 election ballot. Approval of the proposition would grant the School District of Springfield R-XII the authority to issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $168 million for the purpose of (1) improving, repairing, renovating and acquiring buildings, including security improvements, (2) constructing new buildings and purchasing land, and (3) furnishing and equipping school buildings.
GSBOR 2019 President Angie Mullings says that “Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. GSBOR strongly supports the effort of the Springfield School District to provide such an environment. Stronger schools mean a stronger community!”
