At GSBOR, our mission is to deliver courses that provide the essential tools needed to succeed in the industry.

Training programs are provided on a monthly basis in the Board Classroom. The Education Department offers Continuing Education courses for license renewal required by the Missouri Real Estate Commission every two years as well as Code of Ethics training to cover this NAR membership requirement.

Code of Ethics and Professional Standards

The REALTOR® Code of Ethics holds REALTORS® to the highest industry standards.

The MREC only accepts the paid version of the Code of Ethics training from the NAR

Broker License Renewal is in June, Sales Person in September and Code of Ethics is every three years

NAR: Commitment to Excellence Program

Pre-License Information

Salesperson Examination

To be eligible for the salesperson examination, applicants must be 18 years of age and fulfill the following requirements:

48 hour pre-examination course taken no more than 6 months prior to the date of license application.

Successful passage of both portions of the AMP examination after taking the 48 hour pre-examination course.

Completion of the 24 hour practice course (MREP) after pre-examination course.

Pass BOTH portions of exam after completion of the pre-examination course.
0 5
Complete application for license must be submitted within 6 months of the completion of the pre-examination course.

Broker Examination

To be eligible for the broker examination, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

Hold a current and active Missouri salesperson license for 24 of the last 30 months immediately preceding the application for examination.

Earn a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion from a 48-hour broker course from an accredited Missouri real estate school by the test date.

Pass BOTH portions of the broker exam after completion of the pre-examination course.
0 4
Complete application for license must be submitted within 6 months of the completion of the pre-examination course.
